Quiltmaker's 100 Blocks Blog Tour

So, um, I have a secret. However, if you read Julie's blog, it's not really a secret anymore! My quilting momma approves!! Yeah! ;)
You have all heard of this magazine, right?
Well today marks day two of the blog tour for the release of Volume #3 of this "must have" magazine!

    I like the on point layout the best. Being on point makes the pinwheel look extra spin-y. That is a technical term- spin-y.

    Having recently made my first "flying geese" I have been thinking of doing a quilt using them. Your block would certainly make a fun scrappy or semi-scrappy quilt. Thanks for adding one more to my list. LOL Now to keep hopping so I can win the book and have the pattern.

    Now that they are releasing the third volume of 100 blocks, I wonder just how many volumes will follow?....Curious minds wonder such things....I'm sure there are endless ways to make blocks and the magazines are great resources for all of us who don't create our own designs.     I love pinwheel blocks and use variations in my quilts quite often. It brings back childhood memories of holding a pinwheel in the air for the summer breeze to spin. I like the bright fabrics you selected. It also reminds me of the cog wheels in a watch or music box turning against each other. How time flys.(enough dreaming of projects I can make.) I have fabric to cut into pieces so I can sew it back together. I must be a quilter!
