Going Down

Do you remember yesterday when I talked about having a bad day, but sometimes you just have to laugh at yourself? Today wasn't nearly as bad, but I do have another funny.

We were waiting in line to go see another Ice Hogs game and the give-a-way tonight was a fleece blanket so there were a lot of people there early waiting in line because only the first 2000 or so received one. To pass the time I started messing with Bug a little bit by giving him gentle nudges, just gentle little pushes. He decided to go all boy on me and planted his feet and leaned full into me, pushing back. Yes I am bigger than him and can normally just plant my own feet and keep him at bay. However, while in line, the floors were like painted cement with rugs over them in the entryway. I was mostly on the rug but when I took a step back my foot hit the wet cement. I'm sure you can guess what happened next. Yep, down I went. Right on my keester!! The look on Bugs face was priceless! He kept telling me he was sorry and all I could do was laugh. Thank goodness there were only about 30 people behind me to see instead of the 400 or so that were in front of me.. LOL.

The game was fun too!! Except for the fact that I had to sit behind a stinky man and him and his family thought that it was ok to get up about 20 times during game play. =/ Do you know how many breaks there are in the game play in hockey?! A LOT! But nooooo...they couldn't wait to get up then. Even so, we won 5-2 and because we got 5 goals, everyone in attendance gets free ice cream at Culvers tomorrow! Yes!! Totally worth it! :D

Nine days until I get my machine back....yes, I'm counting.

I've been watching American Idol again this season. I find it quite refreshing that there are many, many, many, MANY others out there that sing way worse than I do....LOL. I'm not sure how some of those people even make it to the judging, but I suppose with out them the show would be quite boring in the beginning. Remember William Hung? He made it big...*giggles*. Another guy that everyone is talking about is General Larry Platt. Simon was right when he said he had a feeling that his audition would not be the last we heard of him. He's quite entertaining! Do you know anyone that can break dance at 62? :)

And then today in the local paper was this.. LOL

Day 23 - Pant's On The Ground

Don't get caught with your pants on the ground.... ;)

Much Love!!
