Bugs Are Catchy

I tried really really really hard not to get bitten by this bug.

But we all know what happens when we try to stop thinking about something. We think about it just that much more.

Uh huh. I see you all nodding your heads.

Mind you, it's not that I don't like this particular little bug, because I really really really do love this little bug...I just didn't know what I'd do with it. {{Explanation: I have this insane piece of brain matter that tells me that I need to have a purpose before I obtain these little bugs.  Bugs of any kind really. An MD may be in order for this particular medical condition.}} ;)

So what bug am I talking about, you ask?

This one:::

Innocent Crush!! Pfft!! Who is that Anna Maria Horner kidding? There is no innocence about this. I am totally guilty. Half yard of each cut guilty and I have no idea what to make with it. {{GASP}}!!

Psst...by the way...I really love said Anna Maria Horner. Even if she makes me do things my brain matter tells me not to! :)

So, if you were me, what would YOU make with this yummy goodness?! Leave a comment and include a link if you'd like! I'd love to hear your thoughts and gather up some inspiration! :)

Even better, join in the fun. Go grab your own half yard bundle (or the like) of AMH Innocent Crush and play with me! :D

Much Love!!!

P.S...sorry for no Tidbit Tuesday yesterday! My silly internet thought it needed a break last night and wouldn't let me on to post. Silly interwebs!

  5. Hi KarrieLyne - I know just what you mean, because I did the same thing. I had to have the entire collection so I ordered up a 1/2 yard of each too. Just love petting them!

  7. oh wow! I've just spent the evening online drooling over this collection again. One day I'm going to make a quilt for myself from this range..one day.. drifts off into a dream of having half a yard of the whole collection.

  10. I would love to make a pickety stick quilt from On a Roll Again with these fabrics because when it's finished you would have leftovers to use in another project or a scrappy back.

  11. You know, I've got a stack of these that I won and haven't been able to find a project for, but I just saw that Ladybug said she would make a pickety stick quilt - and that made me think of Kate Conklin's Skittles pattern - which might be absolutely perfect for this fabric! Lots of white to highlight the dynamic prints!! Thanks, Ladybug!!

  16. Where did you purchase your Innocent Crush from? I've only been able to find one on-line shop that has some, and it doesn't appear to be the full line. I'd love to either have a FQ pack or 1/2 of each. thanks!

  18. I was bitten by the same bug you were. I had thought about making just a plain block quilt with the red colorway on one side and the blue on the other. So far, I have some throw pillows backed with Tufted Tweets (with the red couches - I LOVE that one too) and a purse that I made from the pillow scraps with geranium ta-dot purse handles and the same tufted tweets as a pocket on the inside. Good luck! That fabric is just delicious!

  19. So, I think you need to make a patchwork quilt with this awesome stack. I'm totally jealous, by the way. With smallish squares... like 4 or 5 inches (unfinished). And you need to use up ALL the fabric so that the quilt is super big and huge and cuddle-upable. That's my suggestion. :)

  20. I can't believe this I had this all typed out and my internet died....I'll try again. Something like this happened to me last week. I went to the store to buy a few colors of ribbon. The ribbon was on sale....some of it very cheap, some not so cheap. I ended up with $70 of ribbon. I wanted to make a grunge necklace and now I need to make many grunge necklaces and sell them to make some of my money back. The bad thing is that I'm not really sure how to make grunge necklaces...anyone have a pattern?

  21. It's so gorgeous, right?! I have fat quarters of the entire line and since the prints are large in scale, I'm going to make a color brick quilt to show them off.

  22. I too caught that same bug. i just look at the stack trying to figure out what to do. I cant wait to see what you come up with. I love every quilt I've seen made with these fabrics.

  23. Cute fabric. I don't seem to have a problem stockpiling fabric for when the inspiration finally does strike. It's not a good thing. haha.

  24. I was bit by the same bug.
I hope to make a crazy type quilt ala Judith Baker Montano as she uses velvets/velveteens in her work. With AMH fabrics, I think a crazy quilt like this would look a bit more modern!
