  4. YAY!! Seriously, I'm not kidding when I tell you this little story: So today I'm really wanting some "Origins" after seeing your "Sneak Peak". So I ordered a Layer Cake THIS morning! Not having a clue what I was going to do with it, Just now at 11pm I browsed Moda Bake Shop and see THIS right there smack dab at the top of the page!! Is it fate or what?? Now I may be making one pretty much exactly like yours..but what the hell!? Typically I make my quilts w/ different fabrics than the designer, but this is all just way to coincidental to NOT make this quilt! So again, who knows when I'll get to it since I now have the fabrics for TWO of your beauties to make along w/ the quilt along that I'm behind on! But I plan on catching up this week and finishing real soon! Thanks for all the great inspiration!

  8. Beautiful, Karrie! That Origins is really pretty - I just used it to make a Jacob's Ladder quilt and it's lovely fabric. Now I may have to try your pattern! I love that on-point grid.....

And why does it surprise you that your quilts are on MBS? They are gorgeous!! (And your tutorials are A+++)

PS Glad you like Leah's accent - she only lives about 30 miles from me, so I imagine our accents are very similar - so I have to say, "What accent?"

  22. So I was standing in the shower this morning, where I make some of my best decisions, thinking about redecorating our master bedroom and decided, the Origins line. Yep, that is definitely the perfect fabric. Then I read this. Coincidence? I think not. Great pattern. Great price at Burgundy Buttons. Decision made!
