  1. Ohhhh, I'd love a Kona Colour Card! I'd use it to order LOTS AND LOTS of lovely fabric. Thanks for the giveaway and congrats on 500+ followers!

  2. I would love to win the color card because my local store only sells a few colors - if I had a color card I would know exactly which color to oreder on-line for my needs!!!!

    Love the give-away!!!

    Thanks!!!

  3. Congratulations on your boat load of followers!
I travel 3 hours round trip to go to a quilt shop, and the quilt shops I go to have hardly any solids. That means when I buy solids, I do it online. I'd love to have the color card. Too many times I've ordered a color that turns out to be not quite right, or I end up ordering two or three pieces, hoping one will work. It is frustrating!!

  4. Whoa - this would be an awesome help to me when picking out just the right Kona color for my quilts! I'm always so unsure when picking colors off the computer screen. Fingers crossed!

    Thx for the giveaway :)

  5. Oooh, I would love to have that card. While there are several stores in my town that sell Kona solids...they have a limited selection, this would be so helpful to know what the ideal color should be!

  6. It's difficult to design when available hues, shades are an unknown.
With this Kona Color I'll be able to design the night away knowing there's a Kona color to fill my heart's desire.
Thanks for giving us each a chance to win this great planning assistant.
    Hugs,
    Gerry

  7. I would love to win this! I order the biggest part of my fabric online because the nearest quilt shop is about an hour away. It's so hard to know for sure what colors will match just by looking at the images on my computer - this would be such a valuable tool.
Thanks for the chance to win!

    ReplyDelete
  8. Oh! I really like to see fabric before I buy... but none of my local stores carry these. If I won, I'd know exactly which shades to order online!
    Congrats on 500!

    ReplyDelete
  9. oooooh!!! Pick me! I have a stack of almost 15 solids that I know are Kona, but I have no clue which ones! 5 of them are gray! Help me please!

    ReplyDelete
  10. How cool, I'd love to win this. Please pick me!

    ReplyDelete
  11. I'd use it of course for quilting, but I'd also use it for teaching my 2 1/2 year old her colors! Right now she gets green and red mixed up (hmmmm.....) but always gets pink and purple right! :)

    Congrats on 500 followers!

  12. I've been wanting one of these to help me figure out the right color to order when I buy online...thanks for the chance to win one!

  13. Ohhh, I'm loving this thing!

If I'm not mistaken, this thing could be folded up? If so, it'd be perfect to take along with me to a quilt shop to match a color I need or want for a project.

Also, If I am in need of a particular color solid, I'd have that card knowing what the number/code is for the one I'm missing.

    ReplyDelete
  14. A color card would be so useful because I do a lot of online shopping and I would be sure I was getting a matching color.

    ReplyDelete
  15. Would love to have this! I am always having a hard time picking the right solid to go with the prints I have in a quilt, so with this I could see which one would work without having to take the top or blocks with me!

  16. Hi! Thanks for the give away!
I think it would be very helpful in picking colours and fabrics for quilts, to make sure I don't pick the wrong shade or colour.
    Take care, Leslie

    ReplyDelete
  17. That card would be great for when I order online! Please pick me!

    ReplyDelete
  18. I would kill for one of those cards. Well maybe not kill, but I would hurt somebody for sure.

    ReplyDelete
  19. And I'd hurt Pattie if she won it. JK! I cleaned out my quilting area today and thought "okay, that's enough prints, woman. You need to buy some solids." I'm so tired of trying to guess with the monitor colors so I always chicken out. Before she moved, Jennie showed me her color card and wow, it's one handy thing! I'd do cartwheels to win it!

    ReplyDelete
  20. What a fabulous resource this would be when trying to choose just the perfect solid for my next project! I didn't know they made such a thing. I'd be thrilled to win it.

  21. Would love to win your color chart- I usually order my Kona fabric so it sure would be handy. Thanks for having a giveaway.

    ReplyDelete
  22. I am a fairly new quilter and this would help me greatly! I have a limited budget so I try to use more solids than prints, since they are less expensive. Thanks for letting me enter the giveaway. P.S. Your blog rocks!!

    ReplyDelete
  23. I need this!! I never feel comfortable choosing a color on my computer screen!

    ReplyDelete
  24. I need a Kona card SO BAD!!! I am always searching for just the right color solid and my local shops carry a very limited selection. And it is nearly impossible to see true colors online. So this is the perfect tool for me!! Oh, I hope I win!!!

    leighannjones2@bellsouth.net

    ReplyDelete
  25. Oh my would this ever be handy! My LQS is going out of business and have less and less solids. By January they will be gone. It is going to be so hard to find the right solid online!

    ReplyDelete
  26. Oh my! It would be so much fun to play with this when starting projects and would make internet shopping much less of the game of chance that it is now!

    ReplyDelete
  27. Congrats on the followers! :) I would love this color card because I almost always order fabric online, because I am a busy college student! I actually need to order some Kona solids soon so this would be PERFECT to have to get the right colors :) Thanks for the giveaway!

    ReplyDelete
  28. You go girl!! Over 500 - remember the little people when you hit the big time - oh wait a minute - you already have!! Congratulations on all your recent successes :D

I would LOVE this card too - along with everyone else! Color combinations are the hardest thing for me - I've been quilting for about 3 years and I always USED to just use traditional calicos. But I love the bright colors of today, except I'm a big scaredidy cat when it comes to combining them. I ask my 8 year old daughter to help me - she's got a great color eye. It would be wonderful to have this card - to affirm her natural talent AND to help train her eye for the future quilter she is set to become <3 Thanks for the chance to win!!

  29. Not only is it beautiful, but I just took a book out of the library to help me with selecting fabrics for quilts, specifically, color. Was looking at it tonight and thinking, a color chart would be very helpful! Thanks for the chance!

    ReplyDelete
  30. That would be great! My local store doesn't sell all the colors & you certainly can't go by the monitor color when ordering on-line

    ReplyDelete
  31. This would be soooo helpful in choosing just the right Kona solid for my projects!!!

You have a great blog and ideas to match. Winning this item would help in putting together a finished quilt--seeing all the options is nice. Computer monitors show the colors differently and this takes the guess work out of it.

  33. Wow that is a wonderful giveaway. It will make chosing the colours much easier and more accurate than going off what is on the screen.

    ReplyDelete
  34. I see all these lovely quilts online made with solids, but as solids are not part of fabric lines, it would be great to have a guide to help pick out the right color.

    ReplyDelete
  35. What a wonderful resource item for those of us who would prefer shopping online to the brick and mortar type. More time to quilt and saves fuel!

    ReplyDelete
  36. This color card would be a great design tool. Rather than having to audition various fabric purchases, it would be nice to have all the colors right in front of me. Great giveaway!

    ReplyDelete
  37. I would looooove to have one of these! I always want to order solids online but I can't because I can never get my hands on a color card. Thanks for the giveaway!

    ReplyDelete
  38. Oh that would be a handy thing to have on hand! Congrats on such a successful blog, but I know you put a lot of energy into it.

    ReplyDelete
  39. I didn't even know this card existed before today but now I NEED it... I would use it to match colors everywhere I go. So much easier to buy something if I already know it coordinates with Kona :)

    ReplyDelete
  40. This would be amazing! Congrats on the blog that everyone loves. ;) I would love to use this since I order all of my fabric online, and I hate trying to search for photos of my fabric next to beautiful kona solids to figure out which ones would look best. Thanks for the giveaway!

  41. I actually already have a Kona card, and I LOVE it, but if I were to win, I would pass this along to a friend who has been wanting one.

    ReplyDelete
  42. Oh wow! I have been planning on putting that on my xmas list. However, it would sure be nice to have one sooner. I am crossing my fingers! xoxo

  44. Yea for 500 followers! That beautiful color card would save me money! I could order exactly which color I wanted instead of the few I think will be close to what I need. Thanks for sharing with us.

    ReplyDelete
  45. What a great giveaway!! I have been looking for one of these for quite a while! I would love to have one so I can find the perfect solid match for my stash fabrics. I tend to order a lot on the Internet so the color card would be so helpful!!

    ReplyDelete
  46. Oh, I've been looking for one of these for so long! I even started to make my own, but don't have all the names of the fabrics. And it was my birthday yesterday:)

    ReplyDelete
  47. OK, I seriously have been wanting one of these for quite some time and they seem to be backordered everywhere I look! I sure hope I'm the lucky winner of this one ;) Thanks for the giveaway and all the hard work you put into your blog! It's appreciated! Congratulations.

    ReplyDelete
  48. Congratulations on 500 followers- we all know a great blog when we see one!

I too, would love to win a Kona colour card. I only buy online, from the States, as the fabric is a lot cheaper than buying retail over here. Of course, buying online does have its pitfall and that is trying to buy matching/contrasting colours that look 'right'. A Kona card would make it so much easier!

    ReplyDelete
  49. Oh my! I love color cards (threads, fabrics, paint, whatever - I'm a sucker). Love that you the full range of the actual product to find the perfect color. Also, they're just pretty to look at!

    ReplyDelete
  50. OHHHH! How nice of you. I would like this gift because I need to stop framing all my blocks in white, LOL!! I love the Kona White but I am not brave enough to try other colors.

    ReplyDelete
  51. Drool. Kona Cotton Solids are the new Black, no pink, no blue, no wait - they are everything:) I would love to win this color card so I can figure out what I already own and what I need to buy!

    ReplyDelete
  52. I buy Kona by the bolt I LOVE all the wonderful colors. It me of a new box of crayons on the first day of school

    ReplyDelete
  53. Oh, I have been wanting one of these! It would help so much with on line ordering when I have a fabric that I want to match with a solid. Thanks for the chance to win!

    ReplyDelete
  54. That card is like a great big paint chip sample where you can tell what matches with what. I would use it to match solids to all these odd prints I have in my stash.

    ReplyDelete
  55. Congrats on the milestone! I'd love a Kona card. I was looking at them and didn't order quick enough! I tend to use white or offwhite for sashing and backgrounds and need to get out of my rut. That card would really help me expand my solid color horizons to match up Konas with the fabrics I have on hand. Thanks for the great giveaway! Can't wait to see what Wednesday will bring for your next giveaway!

    ReplyDelete
  56. i think this would be so handy because my monitor always shows the colors different looking than when they show up at the house. thanks for letting me enter.

    ReplyDelete
  57. What a wonderful thing to have! I recently moved to the north woods of Wisconsin and find that shopping online is difficult because you really can't tell if the colors are true on your monitor. I would love to add solids to my quilts but finding the right ones is hard. Because I don't have a color card!! Fingers crossed.

    ReplyDelete
  58. I would find this handy because I have no solids right now as I am new to sewing and this would help me know what to order ;)

    ReplyDelete
  59. This is really neat. I have trouble picking just the right color while looking online but something like this would allow me to find my color and then search for the specific name online

    ReplyDelete
  60. Thanks for the chance to win! I'd love a card because I really need to move away from Snow a little bit more :]

    ReplyDelete
  61. Hoooohhhh....
I want this. I really, really want this. You know that Dear Jane we're going to do (yes, we are)? I'm doing it in solids. I need to choose the exactly perfectly right colors, and gee, wouldn't this color card be helpful?

    ReplyDelete
  62. I have recently discovered my love of solids...I would love the card to help me shop for just the right colors!

    ReplyDelete
  63. Very nice! I would love to have this because I have to order most of my fabrics online and it is impossible to tell the true color. Congrats on your followers and thanks for the giveaway!

  64. What a great tool to give away. I just heard Cherri House speak and would love to try a quilt using all solids. I take a lot of time making decisions on fabric. With a card, I could take my time at home choosing before I shop.

    ReplyDelete
  65. Wow, this color card is fantastic! I would use it to find the perfect color of Kona Cotton to incorporate into my quilts! I never realized there were so many colors! I'm totally in love with this! Thanks for hosting the giveaway!

    ReplyDelete
  66. It would be particularly handy for me since I lost mine! Nothing like have the real colors in person :)

    ReplyDelete
  67. I love Kona Cotton. Absolutely love it. Have planned quilts around using Kona Cotton. Made several King Size Hawaiian applique quilts using Kona Cotton. But, while I have recent Kona cotton purchases in my stash, I haven't seen a current Kona cotton card in 20+ years. How did you ever manage to get one? The answer doesn't matter, especially if I win. LOL. Everyone needs a Kona Cotton color matching card. If you are working with solids, this is the ONLY fabric to use! Love Kona Cotton!

  69. I would love to win this great item. I've been wanting one for sometime. I just think it would be nice to get this so I could match the colors up with. This is a great givaway. Congrats on reaching 500

    ReplyDelete
  70. Awesome! They ARE hard to find. I would use it to find a solid that I need for my daughters quilt that needs to match the fabric and her bedroom. It's been hard. I have no solids in my stash (yet). But I just don't want to colour match using my computer screen ;) I might just have to buy a whole bunch of solid Fat Quarters...oh darn ;)

    ReplyDelete
  71. I've really been wanting one of these. It would be so much more easy to hold a card up to fabric to find a good match rather than stumbling around online looking for something close and having to trust your computer screen to be accurate.

    ReplyDelete
  72. I have been looking for a kona color card for over a month now, to no avail. I am working more and more with solids and this would be a great tool for similars and compliments. This giveaway is the best! Thanks!

    ReplyDelete
  73. I love love love Kona solids, but finding a Kona card is like looking for a needle in a haystack! I would use it to help match all the solids I currently need, I usually wait till I see my friend who has one to try and match things, but I only see her once every 3 months. To have my own would be better than sliced bread!!

    Thanks for a wonderful giveaway!

    ReplyDelete
  74. I need this because I have fabric dyslexia... I can't see things to make a quilt unless it has order... and these ARE order... love them... I've always wanted one and would take extra care of it...

    ReplyDelete
  75. I would LOVE this! I'm not very good at matching fabrics via my computer screen and that is how I have to get fabrics. My LQS only carries a limited selection of fabrics so it would be great to be able to color match what I have with Kona solids at home so I can order it through online fabric shops.

    ReplyDelete
  76. Oh man, I've been wanting one of these for about a year now! (Why I haven't gotten one yet, I have no clue!) But I want one...bad...so I hope I win!! Thanks for the chance!!

    ReplyDelete
  77. I just got City Quilts for my birthday, and I am so ready to dive into quilting with solids! I've only just started quilting and all of my quilts so far have incorporated way more solids than I thought they would! I didn't think it was my style but I'm discovering that it is! This would be so useful.

    ReplyDelete
  78. I would love this! It would be so useful. Thanks for the opportunity to win!=)

    ReplyDelete
  79. I have been trying to get my hands on one of these...

    ReplyDelete
  80. I'd love to win a colour card because I haven't found any shops here in the UK that sell Kona Solids so I have to rely on the internet and a lot of guessing!!!!!
    Gill

    ReplyDelete
  81. Congrats on cracking the 500 and your gorgeous quilt for the Kona fabrics.

Why I'd love to win that card - well being reliant on internet shopping for Kona solids, that card would be invaluable.

    Best wishes,
    Erika

    ReplyDelete
  82. This would be so helpful to audition colors & combinations. Congratulations on reaching your goal!

    ReplyDelete
  83. I have just discovered the kona solids, I can't believe there are so many colours and every shop sells different ones. Which is why the colour card would be great, I can see what the colours are really like and which ones are right for projects.

    ReplyDelete
  84. Congratulations! I am pretty particular when it comes to matching fabric lol. Id love this so I can match my solids perfectly. I havent used any Kona cotton yet(just started quilting)but my first order of it is on the way to me.I hope it matches lol. Thanks for the chance to win!

    ReplyDelete
  85. I think picking fabric out online and especially in flourescent lit shops is practically impossible - you never quite know what shade something has to it until you get it home and realize it's wrong. Having a card with all the names would make life much easier!

    ReplyDelete
  86. How did you ever get ahold of that? I have been looking forever! Those new ones are so hard to come by, I'm in awe that you got one! I want it!! BAD!! Please pick me! Please???

    ReplyDelete
  87. Wow! I've been trying to get a hold of one of these forever!!! Randon counter - pick me, pick me! Really, thank you for the giveaway, and congratulations on your big 500.

    ReplyDelete
  88. Wow, that would be so super helpful!

    ReplyDelete
  89. Thanks for the chance to win the color card! I've been looking for months!

    ReplyDelete
  90. Oh, how awesome this would be for the 3 quilts in progress ( not counting the ones I've chosen patterns and bought fabric for the haven't been pulled out yet) that sit. Cut in pieces. In piles. Feeling unloved, until I can figure out how to match the Kona solids to complete them. Maybe there would even be some super-awesome people who would actually get their Christmas quilts ON TIME this year, instead of Fourth of July next year! :)

    ReplyDelete
  91. That kona card would be useful
I only have a joanne's for fabric near my home and they do have some kona, maybe 25 different colors.
So, for anything more unusual than coal or lake , I need to purchase online. the color card would help me choose the right color, the first time

such a thoughtful and useful giveaway

    ReplyDelete
  92. Ooh! I'd love one of these! My local shops carry a very limited selection of Kona solids (mostly white, bone, black, navy...occasionally throw in a green or a purple). If I had a color card I'd know exactly which colors to order online (and I wouldn't have to guess)!
    Congrats on reaching 500!

  96. I've been wanting to get one of these cards for a long time. My local shops don't carry a lot of solids, and I'm too nervous to buy online because I have no idea what the colors actually look like. I can't wait to attempt a solids quilt! Thanks for offering the giveaway.

    ReplyDelete
  97. This card is IMPOSSIBLE to get right now while we wait for Kaufman to start producing the new ones. OMGosh, I want one of these! I'm just starting my solids collection, and need it to be sure to match when I need more of, say, a FQ that I have.

    How generous of you!

    ReplyDelete
  98. What an amazing giveaway! I am always forgetting my fabric swatches when looking for coordinating swatches, so this would make things so much easier. I would know exactly what color I am going for, instead of buying the wrong thing.

    ReplyDelete
  99. Woo hoo, I so need one of these! My love of solids keeps growing, but my LQS doesn't stock a very large variety! That leaves online shops, which is fine except I hate ordering something without knowing what color it really is!

    ReplyDelete
  100. Oh, Karrie! I have wanted one of those for so long. I can't seem to find them anywhere. I love Kona solids and often order them online. It is hard to know what the color is in real life when I order online. I would make good use of a color card!!

    ReplyDelete
  101. oh...so lovely...would love a chance..

  117. I'd love to win this as my local shop I usually frequent only has a limited amount of Kona solids and I'd love to know whether or not the extra colors sold online will match what I'm working on. Thanks!

    ReplyDelete
  118. ooooo I gotta get that color card! Pick me! Pick me!

    ReplyDelete
  119. This would be such an amazing tool to have! Solids are so important in quilt design and it would be great to have such an easy go-to guide for great color choices!

    ReplyDelete
  120. That would definitely be handy! I have to drive 1 1/2 hours minimum if I need solids and of course I don't bring all my fabrics to the store with me. A good amount of my shopping is done online but it's very hard to guess the correct colors from a laptop screen.

    ReplyDelete
  121. I just love your blog. It would come in so handy when you are trying to figure out what fabrics to use in your next project. My local shop has a very limited Kona selection (they love Bella Solids). I am in love with Robert Kaufman's Fabrics.

  127. Yea for you on all your followers! I'd love the chancde to own this baby! I get so overwhelmed when I walk into the quilt shop. This would help take out all the guess work of matching fabrics!

  130. Totally for online ordering convenience. You know the fabric color never matches the screen color in real life. And, I like to look at it :)

  131. I would definitely love one of these! Such a useful giveaway!

  132. I need one of these so bad! There's only one specialty fabric store in my area and she doesn't carry Kona solids. The big chain store that's a little farther away only has a few Konas to choose from. Because of those two things, I have to buy mine online, but the colors look totally different on my laptop than on my husband's. The Kona color card would totally make my life easier!

  133. I would love to have a Kona color card--I love working with color in my quilts and live in an area that doesn't have many fabric shops--Joann's is about it for choices! Thanks for the giveaway!

  134. I would love this! I live in the country with 3 boys who I homeschool. Driving to a fabric store is like an hour away! So I have found I love ordering online but at the same time really have no idea what the color will really look like. So I don't order much fabric. I would love a card with the Kono colors so I could figure out what to order and know what color it really is.

  135. I've been wanting one of these!! What a fun giveaway!

  137. I'm pretty new to quilting and fabric play in general and so I have a very limited "stash". I'm also not super familiar with the quilt shops in my area so I do most of my ordering online and never know what solids will best match/go with the fabrics I already have. Something like this would be IMMENSELY helpful when trying to figure what colors to use!

    ReplyDelete
  138. I would find it useful because I haven't been able to find a quilt shop around that carries much solds and find myself ordering online. But you know the color on the screen is not the same as in reality!

    ReplyDelete
  139. I'm just getting started with solids. Winning a card would be excellent!

    ReplyDelete
  140. I admit to being a die-hard brick 'n mortar fabric shopper --- my struggle is that solids don't have printed salveges! I typically buy a solid and then completely forget which one it is, so going back to buy more of the same becomes an interesting game of swatch matching. Sure would be nice to be armed with the info before I head into the stores!

  141. This would be SO helpful! I can't ever seem to find the right color solid...I've take my 3 little ones on many trips to the fabric store to find a solid to go with whateve i'm working on...only to come home empty handed. If i had the color card...I could order from my cozy home!

  144. Congratulations! Who knew so many people would want to listen. lol. I've found blogging to be fantastic and a great inspiration, and not just for quilting. There's a lot of nice people out there! I've seen these beautiful solids, but my mantra at the moment is 'must not buy more fabric'. I am determined to 'shop my stash' so if you choose me, please choose someone who will appreciate that lovely tool more than me!

  145. I think I would use this to open my world to solid colors.

  146. My local shops don't sell Kona at all so I have to do all my ordering online. And we all know that monitor colors can't be relied upon. So you should pick me!

  147. It is so hard to match colors when ordering on line. It would be so nice to have the actual name and fabric number to make sure the right fabric is ordered. What a nice give away! Thanks :o)

  148. I have been searching high and low for one of those and they're impossible to come by at the moment. I would love one!

  149. I'd love a chance to win! nkiblueeyes at me dot com...

Am new to solids, but falling for them in a big way!

  151. oh - oh - OH this would be sooo handy for someone like me who's closest fabric store (Joann's) is 30 miles away and only has a limited number of KONA bolts... and so with this in my hands, I could REALLY ***SEE*** exactly all their colors and choices and then could confidently shop on line for what I need - soooo cool! ;) how on earth did you find one of these? and better yet an extra to share with your give away winner! ?? ;)

    Love from Texas! ~bonnie

  152. This is jolly good and congrats on the 500+ followers.

This colour card is very useful:
    1. Want to order colours online...the shop I frequent to do not carry lots of solids...so I always turn to online shops to get colours
    2. When I want to match up my fabbies with solids... I can have all the colours within single view to match them up the best.

    Thanks

  153. Congrats on reaching your goal of 500 followers!

The Kona color card would be very helpful as I don't have a quilt shop in my area. I have to buy all my Konas online, and this would help me to get just the right color. I've been searching for one of these to buy, but they are hard to come by, as you've already said. Winning one would be phenomenal.

  154. I'm so excited! If I were to get this lovely Kona color card, I would much more easily be able to design my quilts. My local stores don't have enough color variety, but I can't compare online well enough to know which colors to order and ship. The world would be my oyster!!!

  155. What a great giveaway! Maybe I could actually keep track of the colors I love and find them again!

    ReplyDelete
  156. I would use it to choose the exact solid shade to go with my prints! :) Also, it would make re-ordering a lot easier!

    ReplyDelete
  157. This would be so handy for me. I live in a very rural area and I order fabric on line. I could actually see the right color and make a better match.

  158. I am color challeged, especially for selecting any solids to "go with" prints. As the LQS does not carry Kona solids, must order over the internet. So, having a color card will help choose the right solid shade to "go with" other fabrics. Also, when someone states on their blog what Kona solid they used, I can find it on the card. Thanks for this great giveaway.

  159. I'd love to see all those beautiful colors on the card!

  160. Really, I just want to wallpaper the house with those kona color cards. so freaking cute.
