Today is a special day. There's a birthday in the house...someone is one year old today. :)
MacDreamy...
I bought him a year ago today and have loved him every minute! Yes, I'm a bit attached! This is mostly because I've had so many issues with regular PC's in the past and I've not had one single issue with MacDreamy. He does everything he is told and fast! Can't ask for much more than that. Except it'd be nice if he cooked me dinner. ;)
If you're looking for a new laptop or computer, take a look at Macs. Truly. They are more expensive but totally worth it. Once you get past the learning curve of the differences between Mac and PC...you'll never go back. I know I won't!
Happy Birthday MacDreamy!! :D
(Yes..I'm *still* a dork..hahahah!)
Besides celebrating, I got these done today...
Needless to say.. now a Dresden Plate quilt is one of the things on my *to do* list. Thanks Amy! =P
Super easy to do and ... well ... they are just adorable.
Anyone have the winning lottery numbers so I can quit my job and just sew all day? :D
Hope you've had a fabulous weekend...
I think I'll follow in Odyssey's footsteps now for a while...
Much Love!!!
That is a cute picture of the cat!
ReplyDeleteI wouldn't mind a Mac. The problem is that I don't want to take the time learn how to navigate on a Mac. LOL. :-)
Oh I love your cat and MacDreamy... Well when my house sells I'm getting one. I love the Mac I get to use for work. Enjoy! Your Christmas Dresden is beautiful
ReplyDeleteI have a MacBook and I love mine too!
ReplyDeleteMy SIL swears by his MAC. Beautiful dresdan plate blocks!!
ReplyDeleteI LOVE the Dresdens! Now I'm inspired to go make some next time I'm at the sewing machine! Thanks!!
ReplyDeleteHappy birthday to McD.
ReplyDeleteYour plates are looking awesome!!!
I love my Mac, too - hubby bought it for me when he finally got tired of trying to rescue my PC from all the viruses and weird things it kept picking up. I love that Macs don't catch all those weird things while blogging! Your blocks are lovely, and that is a great picture of Odyssey! He just looks so totally at rest.........
ReplyDeleteI love them so much!! I think those blocks are going to make a beautiful quilt!
ReplyDeletePS I also love Macs. I used them when I was taking some classes and they are so nice...but they are a little expensive, or I would have one too.
Love the Dresden plates! I have a project with them on my ever-growing to-do list.
ReplyDeleteI've been a Mac user since 1994 and love them! Saving my money for an iPad. That'll be a while cuz I keep buying fabric! Love your dresden plates!
ReplyDeleteThe dresden plates are MacDreamy! And that kitty pose at the end...very sweet.
ReplyDeleteMy husband has a Mac & I love it. My pc laptop is sooooo slow!
ReplyDeleteWhat's the fabric in your Dresden Plates? It's so pretty.
And your kitty is so sweet. I miss the purring in our house.
Just be careful w/ MacDreamy. I have one too and my hard drive died a month or so ago. Just quit on me - so we had to replace it which wasn't too expensive but we lost everything on the old one. Mine is about the same age as yours and apparently these macbooks are prone to this particular ailment. So moral of the story here is be careful with it and always make sure the white light is flashing before you move it. Otherwise though i would totally agree that macs are better.
ReplyDeleteLove your dresdens!
