Yummy! I already have Camille's book (great! I love it...even if it only had the last page in it :)) but the German Amazon still pretends that Elizabeth's isn't published yet...hmpf! Happy reading, Julia
My library just received Elizabeth's book (on my request) and I'm waiting for it to get out of processing! Can't wait - if it's really good I'll buy it for my library but this way I get to check it out for free, and the library gets some more current quilting books (their "Modern Quilting" book was printed in 1984!) Let me know what you think of it!
I think you are my twin...these are the only two books I, too, have bought recently, and I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE them! Enjoy! An oh, by the way, I plan on using inspiration from Elizabeth for my V. I. Bee blocks in January :()
Great minds think a like. I just received the same two books in the mail and started oohing and ahhing over them last night. Both books are so pretty and nicely written. Now if I just had more 'me' time. Lisa in Texas
Well now that's just teasing! I have been dying to hear/catch a glimpse of Camille's book. I just bought Elizabeth's book today and i'm very pleased with my purchase. Have fun!
I have Elizabeth's book and love it, but the other one is on my wish list. Can you do a review and tell us how it is? I've been a little disappointed lately with some quilting books that I've found on Amazon and put on my wishlist. My mom and sister bought a couple of them and I'm sending them back b/c I'm not too crazy about them. I wish more people would review books!
I got both of those week before last. I am still going thorugh them nightly. Camilles book excited me to want to get something started, but Elizabeths patterns are the two that I actually got started cutting on.
Oooh, good choices. I just ordered both these off Amazon a couple of days ago too, along with a couple of Miss Rosie's must have books!
ReplyDeleteYummy!
